  5. I’m so jealous that you discovered healthy eating so young! Seriously, I’m happy and excited for you. What a life-changing journey you’ve started. Like you, taking a nutrition course woke me up to how unhealthy I was eating. Of course, you probably took an actual college course and I only took a 4-week class at Whole Foods Market. Still, this class changed my life! I don’t know if your nutrition class covered how harmful it is to eat meat and dairy (the research on this is new), but that’s the info that was presented in the class I took. We also learned about how bad processed food is and were encouraged to eat a lot more fruits and veggies, especially greens. Thanks for following me, by the way. I’m going to follow you too – I’m excited to see where your journey takes you. Celeste:)

    • I feel very good about the changes I’ve made so far. It still sounds like your class was very informative! The class I attended took a more “conventional” stance on nutrition. Therefore, the teacher (who was a nutritionist) promoted low fat dairy products and lean meat. All of the reading and documentary watching I’ve been doing about eating a plant-based diet has really opened my eyes to other options. Thanks for following me & I look forward to reading more of your posts!
